In-Home oxygen

Patients may receive oxygen once prescribed therapy and payment arrangement is verified through Advanced Home Medical. If we are not in network with the patient's insurance, they are given the option to private rent oxygen until therapy is complete.

Upon arrival, the technician will communicate with the patient or designated caregiver to determine proper placement of equipment and supplies, and setup all equipment requested. The individual present will receive proper instruction on how to safely use, handle, and care for any equipment and supplies provided.

Each patient is provided a "Welcome Folder" that contains the following documents:

• Safety Guidelines for in-home oxygen use
• Reference sheets with instruction and diagrams to properly use, troubleshoot, and maintain equipment
• Customer Information Booklet
• A copy of the Delivery Ticket that displays a list of the equipment provided, our contact information, payment arrangement, and the purchase/rental agreement
• Additional documents may be provided upon patient request

In general, each patient receives the following supplies:

• 1 E-Tank with cart and appropriate regulator for portable use
• 4 Adult Soft Nasal Cannulas
• 2 Humidifier Bottles
• 1 Standard Connector
• 1 Water Trap
• 1 7'', 25'', 50'' Crush Resistant Tubing
• No Smoking Sticker
